Bisonte designs, develops and implements advanced mechatronic devices capable of operating in harsh environments. The company was founded with the goal to provide the world with revolutionary robotic solutions and enable mankind to reach higher, farther, and deeper without risking human life.

Since the foundation of Bisonte in 2015, we develop our main project – an underwater drone with the variable-geometry hull: Bisonte NIX. Since then, we delivered mechatronic design services for both scientific institutions and the private sector.

PROOF OF CONCEPT

The first pre-prototype was successfully tested in a laboratory environment, achieving a staggering payload-to-own-weight ratio over 1.2:1.

2017

GOLD MEDAL OF EXPO GENEVE

Our technology was recognized during The International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva is the most important annual event in the world devoted exclusively to inventions presented by both universities and private companies.

2017

GOLD MEDAL OF IWIS

During IWIS – the largest in Poland and one of the biggest in Europe international events related to innovation and inventiveness – our technology was recognized again.

First of the variable-geometry-based patents was granted by the US patent office (no. 9,776,694).

NCBR GRANT ACQUIRED 

WE acquired over 4.4M PLN in grant money to develop the most versatile solution in the ROV market worldwide.

PROTOTYPE TESTED

The NIX LITE underwater drone prototype was tested in a natural environment and confirmed our technology’s superiority over every ROV on the market. Our drone is the first underwater vehicle (ROV) to achieve a 1:1 payload-to-own-weight ratio without vertical thrusters.

PILOT IMPLEMENTATION PROJECT IN GDANSK PORT
We started developing the best-suited ROV solution for ports with the best specialists from one of the largest seaports on the Baltic Sea.
